The Cottage at Roxanna

Roxanna has a new addition! "The Cottage," which can be rented as a weekend getaway. It has a queen size bed, sofa, kitchen table, kitchen counter and cabinets, plus a fridge, microwave, water kettle, hot plate, and window-unit AC. The loft has a full-size mattress. Over the next few months, we'll add running water, and will finish the insulation and paneling on the walls. The Cottage is available now for overnight rental. It is also dog-friendly, with prior permission.

Prices as of September 2025:

  • $75/night for up to two people (queen size bed)
  • $10/person/night for extra people (bed in lofts, floor space)
  • Max occupancy: 5 people

NOTE: The price will increase as more improvements are made.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your reservation.

DISCLAIMER: This is NOT an AirBnB - it will only be rented to people I know and trust (or someone who is vetted and vouched for)! Also, renting The Cottage is not the same as renting the entire site (others may be camping), and rental of the site does not include The Cottage.

  • Running water (there is a sink behind The Cottage, and showers nearby)

  • WiFi (Verizon gets good signal)

House Rules (all site rules also apply):

  • Dogs allowed, with prior permission.
  • Absolutely NO SMOKING is permitted inside. You may smoke on the porch or elsewhere, but please pick up and discard your cigarette butts.
  • Absolutely NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES are allowed at Roxanna.
  • You can use any of the firewood at the top of the hill for a camp fire.
  • Firearms not permitted except with special permission.

WINTER:Water at Roxanna will be cut off for the winter approximately mid-November through mid-March. The Cottage is still available, but you will need to bring your own water. Also, mid-November through early February is deer season, and there will likely be hunters on- site or nearby. Wearing orange (for you and your dogs) is strongly suggested.
